Hi you! As some of you may know, I’m a huge fan of pancakes. I’m always searching for new recipes; especially healthy ones. Now that I’m on a workout journey, I have found the perfect recipe for my palate and lifestyle, so I’m going to share the recipe with you. This recipe contains 3 macronutrients so it’ll make you feel satisfied for a longer period of time.
1 whole egg + 3 egg whites
1/3 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of flax seeds
1/2 banana (it’s optional but I love the taste it gives the pancakes)
1/4 cup of almond milk or water
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Stevia or honey to taste
Blend all together and add to a previously sprayed pan (I used coconut oil spray). I then top them with some almond/ peanut butter and a drizzle of honey. Yum!
By the way, this recipe is one portion. You can eat the whole stack of pancakes by yourself without feeling guilty. To make the deal even sweeter, you can also top them with a few strawberries or blueberries. Thank me later. 🙂
